BEML Limited has announced that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has approved the allotment of 60.063 hectares (approximately 148 acres) of land to the company.

The land, located in Umeria, Raisen district, will be used to establish a manufacturing facility for rolling stock and coaches intended for railway and metro projects across the state, the company said in a BSE filing.
