Infosys shares rose more than 2% in Friday’s morning trade after the IT major announced its largest-ever share buyback programme worth Rs 18,000 crore.

On the BSE, the stock advanced 2.32% to Rs 1,544.65, while on the NSE it gained 2.19% to Rs 1,542.90.
