Tanla Platforms Limited, one of India’s leading communications solutions providers, has announced the deployment of its advanced anti-spam and anti-scam solution in partnership with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat), a prominent telecom provider in Indonesia. The solution, built on Tanla’s AI-native platform Wisely.ai and powered by NVIDIA GPUs, will protect nearly 100 million Indosat users from digital fraud under a multi-year subscription-based SaaS agreement.
The strategic collaboration marks a major step in Tanla’s global expansion, bringing its AI capabilities from India to Southeast Asia. It reflects the company's mission to empower nations like Indonesia and make artificial intelligence inclusive and accessible for all. The platform, Wisely.ai, is designed with a robust three-layered architecture comprising Data, Infrastructure and Network, Core AI Engines, and Applications. It processes vast amounts of real-time Big Data with millisecond latency while fully complying with local data sovereignty and regulatory norms.
At its core, the platform leverages a mix of traditional machine learning and generative AI models, developed using cutting-edge NVIDIA GPU infrastructure. These AI engines support a range of applications, including the newly deployed anti-spam and anti-scam system that functions across SMS, voice, and VoIP channels. The solution is effective for both Application-to-Person (A2P) and Person-to-Person (P2P) communications. It integrates deeply with SIM cards and handsets on both Android and iOS platforms, using a dedicated SDK to detect and alert users of fraudulent activity at the network and app level—delivering one of the broadest telecom coverage models in the industry.
Commenting on the launch, Uday Reddy, Founder Chairman and CEO of Tanla, said, “The deployment of Wisely.ai with Indosat is a proud milestone for Tanla and a significant telco-grade rollout in the Southeast Asian market. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to securing digital interactions through real-time spam and fraud detection. It validates our global relevance and AI leadership, with Indonesia offering a compelling stage to demonstrate our impact.”
Indosat’s President Director and CEO, Vikram Sinha, added, “At Indosat, we believe digital protection is a fundamental right for every Indonesian. Our collaboration with Tanla to implement this AI-powered solution highlights how technology can safeguard everyday digital interactions. Built on Indosat’s sovereign AI factory powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, the system enhances Indonesia’s capacity to counter spam and scam threats in real time, reinforcing the country’s digital resilience and public trust.”
Wisely.ai stands out globally as an AI-native platform with key pillars such as agentic AI, self-learning, and autonomous capabilities. The platform’s core technology is supported by multiple filed and approved patents, including recognitions from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). It is cloud-agnostic, scalable, and built to meet telco-grade standards and global regulatory requirements.
This partnership not only strengthens Tanla’s presence in the global telecom technology space but also contributes to its long-term revenue strategy through high-impact, recurring SaaS solutions.
