Heritage Foods Limited (NSE: HERITGFOOD), one of India’s leading dairy brands, has acquired a 51% controlling stake in Peanutbutter and Jelly Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Get-A-Way — India’s pioneering guilt-free indulgence brand known for its high-protein, no added sugar ice creams and desserts. The remaining 49% will continue to be held by the founders, with Heritage retaining an option to acquire an additional 20% after March 2026.
The acquisition aligns with Heritage Foods’ Vision 2030, aimed at strengthening its footprint in the fast-growing healthy dessert and premium ice cream segment. The move brings together Heritage’s decades of dairy expertise with Get-A-Way’s innovation-driven, health-conscious product portfolio, catering to the rising demand for nutritious yet indulgent treats.
Mrs. Brahmani Nara, Executive Director, Heritage Foods, said the partnership merges Heritage’s scale and experience with Get-A-Way’s strong Gen-Z connect and focus on protein-rich, no-sugar-added offerings—supporting the company’s mission to deliver nutrition-forward innovation.
Jash Shah, Co-Founder and CEO of Get-A-Way, called the acquisition a “transformative milestone,” enabling nationwide expansion through Heritage’s manufacturing and distribution network while preserving the brand’s focus on quality and innovation.
Founded in 2018, Get-A-Way has rapidly grown into a leading health-focused dessert brand, serving over 8,000 orders daily across 35+ cities through quick-commerce, food delivery platforms, and five offline parlours. The brand achieved EBITDA neutrality in FY25 and expects to double its topline in FY26.
This strategic acquisition positions Heritage Foods at the forefront of India’s “better-for-you” dessert revolution, combining traditional dairy strength with new-age, mindful indulgence.
