Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has received a Letter of Empanelment/Award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for the supply of 12,883 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Maharashtra.

The order, awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme, covers solar pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities. The total order value stands at approximately Rs 356.77 crore (inclusive of GST), while the base contract value is Rs 327.62 crore.

As per the terms, Shakti Pumps will undertake the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar pumping systems. The entire project is to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the Work Order or Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the company confirmed that no promoter or promoter group interest is involved. The contract also does not fall under related party transactions.
