Quest Flow Controls on Monday informed stock exchanges that it has received a purchase order worth Rs 2.17 crore (including GST) from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, a Government of India undertaking.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is for the supply of hull valves, as disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the company, the contract is required to be executed within four months. Quest Flow Controls also clarified that the order does not fall under related-party transactions and that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.

The order is expected to strengthen the company’s domestic order book and reinforces its presence in supplying critical components to India’s defence and shipbuilding sector.
