The Finance Ministry on Wednesday launched the Paripoorna Mediclaim Ayush Bima for beneficiaries of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).

The optional health insurance plan will be offered as a retail product to all CGHS beneficiaries, the finance ministry said in a statement.

The policy provides indemnity-based coverage for in-patient hospitalisation within India, with sum insured options of Rs 10 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
