Copper futures decline on weak domestic demand

Copper futures fell on Wednesday, dropping by Rs 17.95 to Rs 1,152.50 per kg, amid subdued demand in the domestic spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), April contracts declined 1.58%, with a business turnover of 2,375 lots.

The fall in prices was attributed to lower demand from consuming industries, which weighed on market sentiment, traders said.
