Guar seed futures traded higher on Wednesday as investors increased their positions in the commodity market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for June delivery gained Rs 50, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 5,770 per quintal, with open interest standing at 62,690 lots.
Market experts said fresh buying interest from investors supported guar seed futures, even as spot market prices remained under pressure.
