The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched a new online platform, ‘Investors Support’, aimed at strengthening investor confidence and supporting the growth of India’s semiconductor ecosystem.

The portal, launched on May 26, 2026, has been introduced as part of the government’s broader efforts to build a resilient, trusted and sustainable semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem in the country. Under the Semicon India Programme, the government has already approved 12 fabrication and packaging projects along with 24 semiconductor design projects.

Accessible through the ISM website, the platform provides investors with information related to government schemes, policies, approved semiconductor projects and regulatory requirements for investing in India.

The portal also offers a dedicated grievance redressal mechanism, enabling investors to raise concerns directly with ISM officials. These issues will be addressed in coordination with nodal officers from ministries, departments, state governments, project companies and industry associations through a secure single-window digital interface.

Speaking at the launch, ISM CEO Amitesh Kumar Sinha highlighted the importance of investor facilitation and proactive coordination among stakeholders to further strengthen India’s semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem.
