The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), will organize a day-long ‘Niveshak Shivir’ in Bhopal on June 5, 2026, to help investors resolve issues related to unclaimed dividends, shares, and other investor services.
The event will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Vrindavan Garden, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal, and will serve as a one-stop platform for investors to access assistance, grievance redressal, and investor-related services.
Key services to be offered at the Shivir include:
• Assistance in recovering unclaimed dividends and shares transferred to IEPFA after remaining unclaimed for six to seven years.
• On-the-spot KYC updates and nomination-related services.
• Resolution of pending IEPFA claim applications and investor grievances.
The initiative aims to facilitate direct interaction between investors, companies, and Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs), eliminating intermediaries and speeding up the resolution process. Dedicated service kiosks will be set up at the venue, and participating companies with significant unclaimed dividend accounts will provide support to investors.
The Bhopal event is part of IEPFA’s nationwide investor awareness and outreach programme focused on improving financial literacy, enhancing investor protection, and simplifying the process of reclaiming unclaimed investments.
Interested investors can register through the official IEPFA website and participate in the camp to address their investment-related concerns efficiently.
