Guar seed futures climbed more than 2% on Thursday, driven by fresh buying and increased bullish positions by market participants.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the July contract rose Rs 122, or 2.02%, to Rs 6,166 per quintal, with an open interest of 14,580 lots.
The contract had settled at Rs 6,044 per quintal in the previous trading session.
