The bank reported standalone net profit of Rs 316.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 103.22 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-yearÿgrowthÿof 206.67 per cent.
Interest income of the bank rose by 25.08 per cent at Rs 2024.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as against Rs 1618.84 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During the April-June quarter, total income rose substantially by 22.12 per cent to Rs 2,280.93 crore from Rs 1,867.83 crore in the year ago period.
Meanwhile, operating expenses increased by 14.96 per cent to Rs 1,732.87 crore from Rs 1,507.35 crore in the same period last year.
Operating profit surged 52.04 per cent to Rs 548.06 crore from Rs. 360.48 crore.
Provisions and Contingencies slipped by 43.40 per cent at Rs 127.32 crore from Rs 224.94 crore a year ago.
NII, the difference between interest earned on loans and interest paid on deposits, increased by 38.72 per cent at Rs 1,187.35 crore versus Rs 855.95 crore in the year ago period. Non-interest income rose 2.82 per cent year-on-year to Rs 256.01 crore.
On the asset side, gross non- performing assets (NPAs)ÿfellÿto 2.16 per cent of the gross advances as at the end of June 30, 2026 from a level of 2.52 per cent year earlier. Its net NPAs or bad loans tooÿdeclinedÿto 0.34 per cent of net advances on June 30, 2026 from 0.70 per cent a year ago.
