Allahabad Bank's share issue and allotment committee of the board of directors will consider the modalities of raising equity capital of up to Rs 2,000 crore on October 13 through various modes of securities.
The Bank's proposed capital raising up to a ceiling of Rs 2,000 crore is inclusive of premium, according to a regulatory filing.
Meanwhile, shares of the bank were trading at Rs 65.65 apiece, down 3.03 per cent from the previous close at 14:35 hours on BSE.
