The Nifty50 and the Sensex continued to hover in red as oil prices advanced due to ongoing US-Iran tensions.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76808.72 down by -661.39 points or by -0.85 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23983.25 down by -204.45 points or by -0.85 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77384.95 and intraday low of 76641.19 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24166.3 and intraday low of 23961.4

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2156.45,+0.67%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4714.75,+0.57%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1955.40,+0.36%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 287.65,+0.35%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 348.75,+0.07%), among others.
