Gold climbs Rs 100; silver declines Rs 200

Gold saw an increase of Rs 100, reaching Rs 63,050 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday, driven by a surge in precious metal prices in international markets, as reported by HDFC Securities.

In the preceding session, the precious metal had concluded at Rs 62,950 per 10 grams. Conversely, silver experienced a decline of Rs 200, settling at Rs 77,100 per kilogram. In the global arena, gold demonstrated an upward trend at USD 2,032 per ounce, while silver exhibited a decrease, trading at USD 23.80 per ounce.

Comex's spot gold was valued at USD 2,032 per ounce, marking a USD 1 increase from its previous closing price.
