The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 748.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 236.57 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 216.41 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.68 per cent at Rs 5,398.11 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 4,790.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.47 per cent to Rs 4,561.03 crore from Rs 4,324.49 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 3.63 per cent at Rs 121.51 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 117.25 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 79.52 per cent to Rs 837.08 crore as against Rs 466.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 59.40 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 333.07 per cent y-o-y to Rs 66.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 195.42 per cent at Rs -87.02 crore (Mar'23 Rs 91.20 crore).
