The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,058.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 852.84 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 24.07 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 46.46 per cent at Rs 5,420.24 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,700.83 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 61.80 per cent to Rs 1,401.27 crore from Rs 866.04 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 23.11 per cent at Rs 71.84 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 93.43 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 41.77 per cent to Rs 4,018.97 crore as against Rs 2,834.79 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.20 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 48.74 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2,579.34 crore, while Taxation increased by 23.69 per cent at Rs 378.82 crore (Mar'23 Rs 306.26 crore).
