Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced on Tuesday the signing of a new Taj-branded property in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The greenfield project includes 150 rooms and boasts facilities such as all-day dining, a bar, two speciality restaurants, and over 10,000 square feet of banqueting space.

With this new property, IHCL will have 26 hotels in Uttar Pradesh, including 13 that are currently under development, the company confirmed. This expansion marks a significant increase in IHCL's footprint in the region, enhancing hospitality options and contributing to local tourism and economy.
