The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,374.60 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 2587.80 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 8.24 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 4.19 per cent at Rs 16,481.30 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17,202.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.69 per cent to Rs 13,288.70 crore from Rs 13,942.20 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 10.32 per cent at Rs 665.50 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 742.10 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 2.09 per cent to Rs 3,192.60 crore as against Rs 3,260.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.22 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 2.93 per cent y-o-y to Rs 210.90 crore, while Taxation increased by 8.76 per cent at Rs 906.30 crore (Jun'23 Rs 833.30 crore).
