Aluminium futures traded marginally higher by 45 paise to Rs 243.45 per kilogram on Thursday, as traders initiated fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery rose by 0.19% to Rs 243.45 per kg, with a volume of 1,166 lots.
Analysts said the price movement was driven by renewed buying interest from speculators, supported by steady demand from consuming industries.
