ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has won standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects with a total capacity of 275 MW/550 MWh in Andhra Pradesh.

According to a company statement released on Thursday, the projects, located at Kuppam and Ghani, were awarded under NHPC’s tender. The systems are required to provide two full operational cycles of two hours each per day.
