Karnataka Bank on Monday announced the resignation of its Managing Director and CEO, Srikrishnan Hari Hara Sarma.

In addition, Executive Director Sekhar Rao has also stepped down, citing personal reasons and his inability to relocate to Mangaluru, the bank said in a statement.

Sarma’s resignation will be effective from July 15. He attributed his decision to personal reasons, including plans to relocate to Mumbai.
