L&T Technology Services has announced its selection by the TRATON GROUP—one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers—as a strategic engineering partner. The partnership, part of LTTS' Mobility segment, will support TRATON’s vision of developing a unified, future-ready product development platform aimed at delivering scalability, speed, and sustainable mobility solutions globally.

As TRATON restructures its global R&D ecosystem to enhance cross-brand synergies and increase the share of battery-electric vehicles, LTTS will provide end-to-end engineering support. This includes mechanical and software engineering as well as digital systems integration across key locations in Sweden, Germany, the U.S., Poland, and India.

The collaboration allows LTTS to strengthen existing engagements and explore new initiatives across TRATON’s brands, focusing on areas such as software-defined vehicle architectures, electrified powertrains, autonomous and ADAS feature development, and advanced digital engineering toolchains.
