Silver prices fell by Rs 256 to Rs 1,12,680 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions at prevailing price levels.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, September delivery contracts declined by 0.23% to Rs 1,12,680 per kg, with a trading volume of 21,003 lots.

Analysts attributed the dip to profit booking and reduced interest from market participants.
