Zinc futures declined by 0.52% to Rs 257.05 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders reduced their exposure amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, August delivery contracts slipped Rs 1.35 to Rs 257.05 per kg, with a volume of 1,411 lots.
According to analysts, the drop in prices was driven by subdued demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to cut their positions.
