Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) announced the opening of its new 97-room hotel, Vivanta Thane, on Wednesday, further expanding its presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

“Thane, as a close neighbour to Mumbai, has grown into a significant satellite city within the region,” said Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, in an official statement.

She added, “Strategically located on LBS Road, with excellent connectivity to major transport routes and business hubs, the hotel is ideally positioned to cater to the evolving demands of today’s travellers.”
