Bang Overseas posts Q1 net profit of Rs 1.15 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 1.15 crore compared to net loss of Rs 4.68 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.35 per cent at Rs 47.81 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 41.81 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.63 per cent to Rs 46.99 crore from Rs 48.26 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 20.41 per cent at Rs 0.39 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.49 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 112.54 per cent to Rs 0.81 crore as against Rs -6.46 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 111.01 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 90.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.38 crore, while Taxation decreased by 63.39 per cent at Rs -0.67 crore (Jun'24 Rs -1.83 crore).
