Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd has received a Letter of Empanelment from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (MPUVNL) for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of off-grid DC and AC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme, implemented as the PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana in the state.

The order, valued at around Rs 4.24 crore (excluding GST), covers 159 solar water pumping systems with capacities of 2 HP, 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. The project is to be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.

The company clarified that neither its promoters nor group entities have any interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
