Copper futures slip Rs 2.95 on weak demand

Copper prices fell on Thursday as traders cut positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper futures for October delivery dropped Rs 2.95 or 0.32% to Rs 907.55 per kilogram in a turnover of 4,375 lots.

Analysts said the decline in prices was largely due to lower bets by participants and muted market demand.
