Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited (SSCL) announced that Samskara Bagru, a 5-star resort with 225 keys spread over 7 acres on Jaipur’s Ajmer Road, has commenced full-scale construction. The project’s contractors, consultants, and architects were appointed earlier, and approvals for commercial land conversion and architectural plans have been secured from the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), with all necessary statutory fees deposited.

Samskara Bagru will feature elegantly designed suite rooms and villas, targeting Jaipur’s growing wedding and business tourism market. Strategically located near the SEZ, the resort is expected to welcome guests by August 2027. SSCL, through its associate company Villashare Tech Private Limited, holds a minority stake in the project, while Samskara remains the intellectual property owner. Once operational, Samskara Resorts will become one of Rajasthan’s fastest-growing hospitality brands, with over 1,000 luxury keys across its portfolio.

The property will be the largest 5-star hotel in Bagru and one of Jaipur’s largest hotels, managed using cloud-based technological integration for construction and design. The resort will offer amenities including pool villas, luxury suites, banquet and event spaces, a spa and gym, conferencing facilities, a multi-cuisine restaurant with a wood-fired pizzeria, poolside bar, and extensive family entertainment areas.

Samskara Bagru will also benefit from financial incentives under the RIPS 2024 and ‘Rising Rajasthan’ investment schemes, with entitlement certificates already received. The total subsidy over ten years is expected to exceed ?12.5 crore, enhancing the project’s financial competitiveness. The resort is projected to generate employment for around 450 people in Bagru and Jaipur. SSCL has committed to keeping stakeholders informed on the progress of the project.
