Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland on Thursday announced that it has received an order for 1,937 buses from Tamil Nadu State Transport Undertakings (TNSTU).

The company has so far supplied around 21,000 buses to TNSTU. The latest order includes a mix of fully built and chassis models designed for town, mofussil, and SETC operations, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
