Cottonseed oil cake futures on NCDEX rose Rs 2 to Rs 2,853 per quintal on Friday, tracking fresh speculative positions amid firm demand. The December contract saw an open interest of 17,400 lots.

Traders noted that rising demand for cattle feed and participants widening their positions supported the modest price gain.
