Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited, a leading provider of AI-driven enterprise and cybersecurity solutions, has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with UK-based cybersecurity technology firm BlackDice Cyber Ltd. The collaboration aims to integrate advanced AI-based network protection directly into 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) hardware and edge infrastructure, providing secure, end-to-end connectivity for telecom operators and residential users.
Under this partnership, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) plans to develop a multi-layered security framework encompassing perimeter defense to endpoint protection within next-generation 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and Wi-Fi routers. These products will cater to BCSSL’s own 5G FWA rollout as well as other telecom and broadband service providers.
India’s rapid adoption of 5G technology is expected to reshape the broadband ecosystem. According to industry reports from IDC and GSMA, 5G FWA is projected to reach 30–35 million households and enterprises by 2028, representing a service market worth USD 8–10 billion. With Indian homes now connecting over 20 smart devices, exposure to cyber threats has increased significantly. Globally, attacks on edge devices such as routers and residential gateways have surged by over 250% in the past two years, highlighting the urgent need for AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions.
The Indian market for 5G edge and endpoint security solutions is projected to surpass USD 1.2 billion over the next five years. Through its partnership with BlackDice Cyber, BCSSL aims to capture a substantial share of this emerging segment by offering localized, AI-driven network defense solutions aligned with India’s data sovereignty and privacy requirements.
Under the terms of the LoI, BlackDice Cyber will provide its proprietary AI-driven cyber defense engine featuring real-time threat detection, intrusion prevention, and behavioral analytics. BCSSL will integrate this technology across 5G CPE and Wi-Fi router platforms using Edge-AI technology and a private cloud orchestration framework. The combined platform will be capable of detecting, isolating, and neutralizing malware and phishing attacks directly at the network edge, thereby safeguarding subscribers, businesses, and critical infrastructure without compromising speed or latency.
The pilot phase, outlined in the LoI’s Schedules A and B, will include deployments across 10–15 regional sites in India. Following successful validation, BCSSL plans to roll out the solutions nationwide through its network of service provider partners.
Strategically, this alliance positions BCSSL to launch India’s first comprehensive “Perimeter-to-End-Point Security Framework” built on Edge-AI computing and localized data processing. The initiative aligns with India’s vision of creating a digitally secure nation and contributes to the “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” mission by fostering AI-secured hardware manufacturing and cybersecurity exports.
