Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will undertake an official visit to Israel from 20–22 November 2025 at the invitation of Israel’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Nir Barkat. The visit highlights the growing economic and strategic cooperation between the two nations and aims to deepen collaboration across trade, technology, innovation, and investment. A 60-member business delegation, coordinated by CII, FICCI, Assocham, and Start-up India, will accompany the Minister.
During his visit, Goyal will hold bilateral meetings with senior Israeli leaders, including his counterpart, to strengthen trade and investment ties and enhance cooperation in priority sectors such as agriculture, water, defence, emerging technologies, life sciences, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing. Discussions will also include a review of progress on the proposed India–Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and opportunities to expand partnerships between businesses and start-ups from both countries.
As part of the programme, the Minister will participate in the India–Israel Business Forum, featuring plenary sessions, sector-focused discussions, and structured B2B interactions aimed at boosting commercial partnerships and investment flows. The fourth edition of the CEOs Forum will also convene leading executives from both nations.
Goyal is expected to engage with top Israeli companies in areas such as agriculture, desalination, wastewater treatment, cybersecurity, smart mobility, and infrastructure, as well as interact with key Israeli investors. The itinerary also includes visits to major institutions and innovation hubs in Tel Aviv, along with cultural engagements and meetings with the Indian community and business leaders of Indian origin.
The visit is set to further strengthen the enduring India–Israel partnership, deepen economic linkages, and open new avenues for collaboration in sectors of mutual interest.
