Godrej Properties unlocks Rs 2,400 cr additional revenue with new land acquisition on Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru

Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), one of India’s top real estate developers, has acquired an additional 3.8-acre land parcel in South Bengaluru, adding Rs 2,400 crore in revenue potential and nearly 2 million sq. ft. of development capacity. With this, the company plans to build a large premium residential community across an integrated ~30-acre project, with an estimated total revenue potential of Rs 3,500 crore and around 3 million sq. ft. of developable area.

The increased project scale is enabled by higher FSI approval across the combined parcel, allowing GPL to design a master-planned township featuring ample green spaces, premium amenities, and diverse residential options focused on sustainability, wellness, and modern living.

This acquisition further strengthens GPL’s position in the high-demand Sarjapur Road micro-market—one of Bengaluru’s most sought-after residential zones—known for excellent connectivity to major employment hubs like Outer Ring Road, Whitefield, Bellandur, and Electronic City, along with strong social infrastructure including schools, hospitals, and retail centers.

Commenting on the development, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said the expansion will enable the company to build a landmark community that embodies its vision for sustainable and integrated living. He added that the strong response to GPL’s existing projects in the area reflects robust demand and customer trust, and the company aims to set new benchmarks in design, wellness, and urban planning in Bengaluru.
