Graphite India Limited (GIL) has entered into an exclusive distribution and commercial partnership with Kivoro, a spin-off of Graphenea and a leading developer of graphene-based industrial additives. The agreement will bring Kivoro’s advanced Graphene-based Heat Transfer Additive (HTA) technology to the Indian corrugated paperboard industry.
Under the partnership, GIL will be the exclusive distributor of the HTA solution in India, targeting the fast-growing corrugated sector where improved thermal efficiency can significantly lower energy consumption and operating costs.
Kivoro’s proprietary HTA enhances heat transfer efficiency in corrugator plants, enabling higher throughput, reduced steam usage, better board quality and improved operational performance. With GIL’s deep customer reach and strong industry presence, both companies aim to accelerate adoption and support modernization of corrugated manufacturing across India.
Kivoro CEO Jesus de la Fuente said India is one of the most dynamic corrugated markets globally, and GIL’s strong industrial legacy and customer trust make it an ideal partner. Siddhant Bangur, Business Development Executive at Graphite India, stated that the additive is a breakthrough solution aligned with industry needs for efficiency and sustainability.
The collaboration is expected to deliver multiple operational benefits to manufacturers, including higher machine speeds, lower energy costs, improved product consistency, reduced startup times and fewer defects—reinforcing both companies’ commitment to sustainability and value creation for industrial customers.
