Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in KPS III HVDC Transmission Ltd from PFC Consulting. The company said the move aligns with its strategy of enhancing shareholder value through both organic and inorganic growth avenues. The deal value was not disclosed.

The acquired project is designed to support the evacuation of 2.5 GW of renewable energy, forming part of the Phase-V scheme of the Khavda project, which aims to enable transmission of an additional 8 GW of renewable power from the Khavda RE park.
