United Drilling Tools Ltd (UDTL) has secured an export order valued at approximately Rs 1.97 crore (INR 19.71 million) for the supply of Leopard Dual Seal Connectors. The order has been awarded by AH&M Energy Services Pte. Ltd., Singapore, with the ultimate end user being APDS Vietnam Ltd.

This marks the first instance of this specific connector being supplied from India for the stated application. The company expects to complete delivery within four months.

The Leopard Dual Seal Connector is a highly specialized component used in the oil and gas sector and requires advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, and stringent quality assurance. Designed to perform under high pressure, extreme temperature variations, and harsh operating environments, the connector ensures dual sealing integrity, dimensional accuracy, and long-term operational reliability in line with international industry standards.

UDTL has developed strong technological capabilities in designing and manufacturing specialized connectors for critical oil and gas applications, supported by in-house engineering, proprietary manufacturing processes, advanced material selection, and rigorous validation and testing infrastructure.

The company noted that globally, only a limited number of manufacturers possess the technical depth and certifications required to supply such advanced connectors, with even fewer capable producers in India—highlighting the high entry barriers in this segment.

Commenting on the development, Shri Govind Sharma said the company’s ability to design and manufacture Leopard Dual Seal Connectors strengthens domestic and international supply chains, supports supply diversification, and enhances resilience for oil and gas operators.

The export order underscores global recognition of UDTL’s technical expertise and its ability to meet the stringent requirements of a niche, safety-critical segment of the oil and gas industry.
