Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd said that it has further increased its stake in J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited through the acquisition of an additional 92,490 equity shares, representing 0.06 percent of the company’s fully diluted equity share capital. The shares were purchased from an employee of JB Chemicals in line with the share purchase agreement executed on July 3, 2025.

The company also confirmed that it has completed the acquisition of all shares agreed under its earlier share purchase agreements dated June 29, 2025, with Tau Investment Holdings Pte Limited and JB Chemicals, as well as the agreement with certain employees dated July 3, 2025.

Following these transactions, Torrent Pharma now holds a total of 7,83,57,892 equity shares in JB Chemicals, translating to a 48.80 percent stake on a fully diluted basis, strengthening its strategic investment in the company.
