Zinc prices rose by Rs 2.80 to Rs 328.55 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday amid selective buying at lower levels.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery advanced Rs 2.80, or 0.80 percent, to Rs 328.55 per kg, with a business turnover of 616 lots.

Traders said the modest uptick in zinc futures was driven by limited buying support at lower price levels, although the absence of fresh market triggers kept overall sentiment cautious.
