Shares of Nava Bharat Ventures rallied over 10 per cent on the Bombay stock Exchange amid spurt in volume trade. According to data available with exchange, as much as 1.76 lakh shares have changed hand compared to two week average of 1.43 lakh on BSE.

Driven by volume trade, shares of the company gained as much as 10.48 per cent to hit intra-day high of Rs 149.15 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The stocks were currently trading at Rs 143.55 against previous close price of Rs 135.00.

In a similar fashion, shares of the company were trading 7.46 per cent higher at Rs 145.15 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 32,221.62, down 161.68 points, or 0.50 per cent, at 12:08 hours.
